Private Investigator in Brevard County

Licensed, Local and Genuinely Discreet

Doubt does not resolve itself, and a seventy-mile county with a barrier island, a spaceport and a cruise terminal produces questions that a generic answer does not cover. Whether the subject is a spouse in Suntree, an employee in Palm Bay or a witness who has stopped returning calls in Titusville, the facts exist. A licensed investigator can find them lawfully and document them so they survive contact with a courtroom.

Our Services in Brevard County

The Space Coast has an unusual employment profile for Florida, and the casework reflects it. Aerospace and defence payrolls, a large military-adjacent population, and a beachside strip that empties and refills with the season all shape what people call us about.

Why Brevard County Cases Come to Us

We are an hour away, not a state away. Our office is in Fort Pierce. Melbourne is a straight run up I-95, which means a case can start the same week and your invoice is not padded with travel from the other side of Florida.

We understand the clearance problem. Brevard runs on aerospace and defence work, and a meaningful number of the people involved in our cases hold clearances subject to continuous vetting. That does not change how we investigate, but it changes what is at stake in the result, and it is better raised at the outset than discovered afterwards.

We plan around the geography instead of ignoring it. The Indian River and the Banana River split this county lengthwise. Getting from the mainland to Cocoa Beach or Merritt Island means a causeway, and causeways are chokepoints where the same vehicle appearing twice is memorable. That is a constraint on how surveillance is staged here, and a firm that treats Brevard like a grid of ordinary suburbs gets noticed.

We know where the limits are. Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Patrick Space Force Base are federal property. We do not work inside them and we say so before you hire us, rather than after.

Licensed and accountable. Roberts Investigative Services holds Florida agency licence #A1600287, and our investigators hold their own Class C licences. That is verifiable through the state, and you should verify it — of anyone you consider hiring.

Communities We Cover

Melbourne, Palm Bay, Titusville, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Rockledge, Merritt Island, Viera, Suntree, Satellite Beach, Indialantic, Indian Harbour Beach and West Melbourne. Every case is worked inside Chapter 493 and Florida Statute 934.03 — no wiretapping, no trespass, no pretexting into accounts. It is a narrower toolkit than clients sometimes expect, and it is the reason the resulting evidence holds up.

Your Questions Answered

Most people who call have never hired an investigator before. These are the questions that come up first.

How far is your office from Brevard County?
We are based in Fort Pierce, roughly an hour south of Melbourne on I-95. Brevard is close enough that we work it directly rather than sending someone on a half-day drive, and close enough that a surveillance shift starting at six in the morning does not require billing you for travel from Tampa or Orlando.
Where would a Brevard County case be heard?
Brevard sits in Florida's Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, which it shares with Seminole County. Most circuit matters are heard at the Moore Justice Center in Viera, with additional courthouses in Titusville — the county seat — and Melbourne. Knowing which building a matter lands in affects records requests and service of process, and it is the kind of detail that costs time when a firm is unfamiliar with the county.
My spouse holds a security clearance. Does that change anything?
It can, and it is worth raising at the consultation. A large share of Brevard's workforce is employed at Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Patrick Space Force Base or by contractors like L3Harris and Blue Origin, and those roles carry continuous vetting obligations. What an investigation documents may become reportable. We do not advise you on clearance consequences — that is a lawyer's job — but we will flag where the question arises rather than letting it surprise you later.
Can you conduct surveillance on the barrier island or on base?
On the barrier island, yes — Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, Indialantic and Merritt Island are all workable, though the causeways are natural chokepoints and a vehicle that crosses one repeatedly is noticed. On base, no. Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Kennedy Space Center are federal installations and we do not attempt to work inside them, which is a limit any honest firm will tell you about before taking your money.
Do you handle cases in Palm Bay and Titusville, or only Melbourne?
All of Brevard. Palm Bay is the county's largest city and generates a steady share of our family and background work; Titusville, Cocoa, Rockledge and Viera are all routine. The county runs about seventy miles north to south, so we plan a case around where the subject actually is rather than treating Melbourne as the default.
