Family investigations often start when someone is anxious, angry or unsure whom to believe. Acting on every suspicion usually increases cost and conflict. We begin with the decision in front of you—what your attorney needs for a custody matter, what conduct needs to be documented or whether surveillance is likely to answer the question at all.
Child Custody and Parenting-Time Concerns
We can document observable conduct relevant to an existing custody issue, interview appropriate witnesses and verify specific factual claims. The investigation is not a general judgment of either parent, and an investigator does not decide what arrangement is in a child's best interests. That determination belongs to the court with guidance from the parties and their counsel.

Lawful surveillance can document where a person goes, whom they meet and what occurs in public view during the assignment. It cannot provide certainty about an entire relationship, and it does not include unauthorized access to phones, email, financial accounts or private communications.

Assets and Background Questions
Public records can reveal real property, business affiliations, litigation and other leads. Access to bank, tax, medical and other protected records generally requires consent, legal process or work through counsel. Complex marital-asset matters may also require a forensic accountant.

The report separates direct observation, sourced records and third-party statements. It also records material limitations. That discipline matters in a family case, where assumptions can quickly become accusations.
