1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of Roberts Investigative Services (RIS), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the client, and RIS.

2. Services Provided

RIS provides investigative services as outlined in the specific agreement or contract between the client and RIS. The scope of services, fees, and deliverables will be detailed in the respective agreement.

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Information: The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information to RIS.
  • Access: The client may be required to provide access to properties, records, or individuals as necessary for the investigation.
  • Fees: The client is responsible for paying all fees as outlined in the agreement.

4. Limitations of Liability

RIS will exercise reasonable care in conducting the investigation. However, RIS cannot guarantee the outcome of the investigation, or the accuracy of the information obtained. RIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the services provided.

5. Confidentiality

RIS will treat all information provided by the client as confidential. 

6. Independent Contractor

RIS is an independent contractor and not an employee or agent of the client.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement upon written notice to the other party. In the event of early termination, the client may be responsible for outstanding fees. The retainer is non-refundable and not expected to be returned.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written.

10. Modifications

RIS reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
